Supporting the safe adaptation of GBV services when face-to-face delivery is disrupted

Remote service delivery became an essential component of GBV response during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the development of a range of interagency guidance and learning resources. While originally created for pandemic response, these resources remain highly relevant whenever in-person services are unsafe or inaccessible, including during epidemics, insecurity, movement restrictions and other humanitarian crises.

This collection brings together practical guidance, tools and learning resources to support the safe adaptation of GBV case management, hotline services and information management. Developed in line with interagency standards and survivor-centred principles, these resources help practitioners maintain safe, ethical and quality GBV services while ensuring the continuity of life-saving support for survivors.
